What were you grateful for this week?Everything!

What was the most challenging part of this week?I caught the bug going around that the boys got so I was sick this week…

Tell us about your week!

This week was kind of a long week. The boys had been sick the last week and I caught their bug. I started getting sick bastille night which was last Sunday and had a terrible fever for a couple days. I still worked and watched the kids but it was definitely a more relaxed couple days. The boys were so sweet though and would ask if I needed anything and would check on me and see if I was doing better. If they got too loud the oldest would be like “we have to be quiet, P doesn’t feel good” it was the sweetest.

Wednesday was a pretty fun and relaxing day. My friend David and I went to Biarritz and explored the city for a bit. We also went to Anglet to the beach with some of the people that go to the same church as us. It was a really nice fun relaxing day walking around seeing beautiful sites and sitting around at the beach just hanging out and talking.

The people I go to church with have been so nice and so welcoming they invite David and me to a lot of different events going on in the week. David and I also took the missionaries for our church out to lunch which was a lot of fun! We went to this taco place and it was so yummy! It was a long day we spent literally all day at the beach.

Thursday and Friday were good days as well the kids and I hung out at the pool and played games. Saturday and Sunday were more relaxing days as well. Sunday I was at church and then there was a lunch after and we sat around talking for hours. On the way driving home David and I found a market and it was fun to go to that. The markets here in France are so cute and they have them everywhere I love seeing everything they are selling! France is a beautiful country and I love everything here!
