Tell us about your week! This week was filled with fun! At the beginning of the week, we spent our time at the beach. The beach we go to is a private one that has life guards and shallow areas for the kids to play in. It’s very nice to have the life guards there to have a little extra security. Also, the kids have friends that go to the beach with their families so they’re able to play with them and have fun as well!On Friday, there was a new beach bar opening up so my host parents and myself went there to enjoy an aperitif and to congratulate the owners on a successful opening. The sunset was absolutely stunning, and the desserts may I say were even better!! I love Italian food! This weekend I was able to travel with B and J to Perugia! Perugia is part of Umbria, which is also one of the small regions in France. Perugia is known for its university and its international university as well. The city was smaller compared to Florence and Venice, but I loved it. We were able to take in the whole city and discover hidden places, such as an antique farmer’s market and a bar that overlooked the hills and mountains. Being in Perugia reminded me of home and being with two other women who support me made it even better!
