What were you grateful for this week?Museums, apple pies, and cheap flights!

What was the most challenging part of this week?

Hmm honestly this week was great! Maybe just how hot it is and that Italians don’t believe in air conditioning lol.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I made them an apple pie!

Tell us about your week! This week was absolutely lovely! The little boy had summer camp so I got to hang out with the little girl all week, and she is the cutest. We like to play cards and show each other new songs (I show her English ones and she shows me Italian). She is great at helping in the kitchen — she helped me cut the apples for the pie. The host mom let us go get gelato and play Pokemon Go after dinner one day, and that was super fun. 

Since the little boy was gone, I got a lot of free time during the day, so I bought a Milan museum pass and went to a few every day. My favorite ones were the Museum of Classical Instruments and the Fashion Museum. I also went swimming in the public pool one day. 

I am currently in London! Both kids are at summer camp this week, so I was allowed to extend my weekend trip. I love this city so much! I met up with Sage on Saturday and Sunday, and I have seen four shows and done two theatre tours so far, and I am seeing four more shows before I go. I have a few friends from college who are here in London that I get to see this week, which makes me so happy! I am feeling super grateful for many things this week!
