What were you grateful for this week?Train that are on time.

What was the most challenging part of this week?Adapting to another family.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. This week I didn’t spend time with my host family. I got to spend the whole week with friends visiting their host families! I did my best to clean up after myself of course and help where I could!

Tell us about your week! This week was amazing because I got to visit my friends in Lignano Sabbidoro. It is a quiet little beach town but lots of tourists are there in the summer time! During the day we went to the beach everyday relaxing and just reflecting on our past could of months here in Italy! It was so much fun to see other host families and experience Italian cultures through other families lives with their own traditions! It is very important with every family I have learned to eat as a family together that’s when you get to really socialize with the adults. I appreciate the families for letting me stay as well! I enjoyed eating so much food and feeling like I was going to explode day in and day out. But always having room for gelato of course! It is always just a good time to relax and unwind, even tho this whole experience with time abroad has felt like a vacation! I love being able to spend time with the people I love while enjoying the company of some other amazing people.

Italians are awesome people and I am so lucky I got to learn some more traditions, try new foods/drinks and be able to travel around this beautiful country!
