What were you grateful for this week?My host family!

What was the most challenging part of this week?

What was most challenging this week was the heat! And I know it will go higher by the week!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.Playing at the park with my host kids and seeing what they love to do.

Tell us about your week! This past week I realized that I am happy to be here. My host family is amazing and everyday I am more thankful for have decided to be with them!

As the week went by I decided to explore this week Vatican City and when I got there surprisingly the pope was there! A mass was happening and I was so excited to have chosen that day to go and unexpectedly see the pope from a far! Such a good unexpected experience.

This past weekend I went with a couple of girls from Rome Abroad to cinque terre, it was an early morning train ride my first time having a super early trip, it went well and I enjoyed the ride. Cinque Terre was beautiful I would have love to go to all 5 villages but the two that we went were absolutely beautiful — my dad was super jealous of me because he has always wanted to go there. I had a lovely time with the girls and went to beach to relax with this heat that has been going on everyday since I got to Italy but it was so relaxing and such a good vibe to be there. Before we began our train ride back to Rome we decided to get some calamari and wow I was so excited and happy to have been able to eat something that reminds me of home, I eat calamari when I go to fisherman’s wharf so being able to eat fresh seafood was so tasty!!
