What were you grateful for this week?
I am grateful for my new friends I met through Rome Abroad this week!
What was the most challenging part of this week?
Sleeping was a little challenging for me but my body is now used to this time schedule that I have.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I had a lovely week with the kids, when walking home from school I got them ice cream and with A, I was able to connect more with her through singing songs from the movie Frozen.
Tell us about your week! This week I went out for lunch with some girls from Rome Abroad, they were absolutely wonderful. I felt like I was able to communicate with them through their experiences being with host families and stuff that we all do back home. I know sometimes it is hard to be far away from home but we all give each other support and advice when being able to hang out together and talk about it.
This past weekend I went to Paris, France. It was AMAZING. I was so happy to have finally seen the Eiffel Tower, truly a dream come true. I saw notre dame cathedral and it was beautiful; even though I was not able to go inside due to what happened, the outside was enough for me. I was also able to go to Disneyland Paris, the fireworks show will forever be my favorite part of that day! I really loved saying this phrase about “LA and Orlando could never!!” Because it is true the show was so cool and different then what I have seen at Disneyland in the U.S. I am so happy that I was able to go somewhere where I truly dreamed of seeing one day and being able to go with my friends B & N made it even more spectacular. As I said in one of my posts, “vue intemporelle” which means “timeless views”, is totally true and how I would describe my weekend.
