What were you grateful for this week?I am so grateful for my family I am with…I am really lucky to have the family that I do. I am grateful for my boyfriend because he knows exactly how to make me feel better when my anxiety over traveling comes up.
What was the most challenging part of this week?I had some issues with the trains this week when going to Lake Como. I ended up paying a lot more for tickets because the people wouldn’t let us move from first class, which we accidentally sat in, and they charged me more for not having my ticket verified on the way back. I also have been having a hard time with the mosquitos, I am allergic and I keep getting them and it is an awful, itchy situation.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I was able to help Nonna with lunch and dinner all of this week and she has named us the greatest team ever because we are able to clean up after the meal so quickly.
Tell us about your week!
I am so excited because my 21st birthday is coming up so a few girls planned a birthday weekend with me! We get to spend a few days on the coast and I can’t wait! On Wednesday (May 29th) I got to take a day trip to Lake Como. It was so pretty and I had a lot of fun getting to discover a little bit of the city. I had some amazing gelato and got to go into Cathedrals that took my breath away. The train ride was a bit rough because the people that go through the train and check your ticket were not very nice about things. I also got to go to a city event with my family and it was a lot of fun getting to see all of them and just having a good night.
My favorite thing this week was going to Verona on Sunday. It was so pretty and I think that I want to live there at least for a year. The city was beautiful and it just felt magical. There was also a bike race going on through the city which kinda sucked a little bit because they closed down some roads. The city was amazing overall and I want to go back and explore it even further. But by the end of the day, my legs were so tired and sore that I don’t think I could have walked any further.
