What were you grateful for this week?Being able to explore beautiful places!

What was the most challenging part of this week?Long train rides.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I taught my host son some new moves on the soccer field.

Tell us about your week! This week was very exciting! I was able to go to Venice with five other Rome Abroad Travelers. Venice is absolutely breathtaking. The canals, mask shops, gelato, spritz, food, chocolate, etc. was all AMAZING. Every corner I turned around was something new and exciting. Saturday night was so fun! All of us were together. We went to dinner and then went back to our hostel to hang out. Once we stepped into the hostel, we could tell that there was an event going on. We decided to crash it!! IT WAS THE BEST DECISION. It was a 60th birthday party and they were singing Italian karaoke. Even though we couldn’t understanding what they were singing, we danced with everyone there. B and I walked around the entire island on Sunday. We stopped by H&M to get some clothes (who can resist right?). We were then craving McDonalds for lunch lol. I know in Italy you’re supposed to only eat Italian food, but I was craving a good burger and french fries. After we walked around some more, and eventually B had to leave. I wasn’t leaving till the next day so I took my time walking back to my hostel. Did some more shopping (oops) and got myself some dinner on the way.
