What were you grateful for this week?Art!

What was the most challenging part of this week? Not feeling guilty about having some alone time to decompress.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. Cleaned the kitchen after dinner.

Tell us about your week! This week has been filled to the brim with museums and incredible art! I finally went to the Borghese Gallery which was so cool! I learned that it is not allowed to take pictures inside this museum towards the end of my visit, so I have a lot of pictures that I am not supposed to have, oops!

Afterwards I walked around the gardens at Villa Borghese and somehow stumbled into an international horse competition, again, oops. But, I did stay for a little while and watch and it was so fun! I ended up getting really into it and clapping along with all the other viewers. This weekend I went to Paris with L and A! The louvre was incredible, we didn’t even get to see everything there and we were there for over three hours! We also went to Versailles and saw the hall of mirrors which I’ve only ever dreamed about doing!

Being here is really cool because I have just been living every day just doing what I want to do, and I found an old bucket list from January of 2018 and I’ve already checked off three things on it accidentally. It’s amazing! One of the things that I am learning to deal with is remember to take care of myself as well. It’s really great spending every day going out and doing things with the little time that I have here, but you need days to decompress as well. I was feeling really guilty that I took a few of those days this week and haven’t gone out much but it is really really important to remember to do it without guilt. Self care is the most important thing and I need to remember that more often!
