What were you grateful for this week? The ocean.

What was the most challenging part of this week?Staying sane.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I helped my host family’s daughter with her homework and presentations at school!

Tell us about your week! This week wasn’t too bad at all haha. It was a pretty chill week, I was able to find new cafes and I also went to a flea market which was so much fun! My host’s daughter has had a ton of homework, so we weren’t able to have a lot of fun together like usual, and the emotions were running very high throughout the entire house I won’t lie haha. So it was very nice being able to take a weekend trip!

This weekend I went to the city of Genoa with E, who I’d met before in Venice, and then I was able to meet two new Rome Abroad travelers!! S and E2 were so nice and so much fun. Genoa was gorgeous. It’s right on the coastline, so we were able to go to this incredible aquarium which was just so full of life and everything. We also saw incredible churches and a castle and we rode a Ferris wheel which just over look the coast! It was a short weekend, but it was just so nice. Everyone that I’d met was so amazing and incredible it feel like we’ve known each other for forever! The worst part was how humid it was there haha we were all just simply sweating buckets. But seriously Genoa is gorgeous. It’s not super touristy which was kind of nice. Me and the girls just had the best time.
