What were you grateful for this week?I was grateful for my family. They’ve really made me feel like one of their own.

What was the most challenging part of this week?Being able to see everything in such a short time on my weekend trip!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. The parents went out of town, but their grandparents came to stay with us, so just helping the grandparents with whatever they needed, which wasn’t too challenging, it’s just neither of them spoke very good English haha.

Tell us about your week! This week was great! For my weekend trip, I decided to kill two birds with one stone by going to Innsbruck, Austria and Munich, Germany since they’re both very close to where I live. It was so much fun!! They were so beautiful. Innsbruck had so much great architecture, and Munich had incredible history. Munich was definitely my favorite and I’d love to go back again one day. It was incredible. My favorite parts were visiting castles in both countries, and the Nazi documentation center in Munich was so powerful. This was such a special weekend.

My family was/is amazing. They’re so so good at making me feel included. I lucked out with them big time. The parents went on a cruise for the weekend, and so at first I wasn’t planning a trip anywhere but then their grandparents came to take care of their child and let me have a weekend trip! Which I was seriously soooooo grateful for. Their grandparents were so kind, although we did have a bit of a language barrier haha.

Oh also Germany is sooo different than Italy haha but in a good way! Like it’s a lot more structured I feel like, but Germany is so incredible.
