What were you grateful for this week?Warm weather.
What was the most challenging part of this week?Daylight savings messed with my sleep schedule.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I worked Saturday so my host parents could attend a friend’s birthday party.
Tell us about your week! This week was good, I only have about two weeks left before I’m finished and I’m having a lot of mixed emotions! I’m excited to go home and see my friends and family but I’m so sad to leave my host family who I’ve grown close with and I’m going to miss Australia so much!
This week I got to go to Manly and if I could live in Manly I think I would stay here forever! Manly is beautiful and so much fun! We walked around the markets and got dumplings and just enjoyed the warm weather and the beach! I loved the fact that I could walk in different directions and be at a beach!
We had daylight savings happen and that definetly messed with C’s schedule and threw me off but that’s ok we’re about back on track! C has been teething and I have learned that as much as I love kids I’m definetly going to wait a while before I have my own, they are a lot of work especially when they aren’t feeling well. They’re worth the work but you definetly have to be prepared for anything!
Next weekend my host family and I are supposed to go to Toronga Zoo so that should be fun! I think that C will absolutely love seeing all of the animals!
