Tell us about your week! This week has been yet another great week in Italy!
I am hanging out with a big group of au pairs from all around the world and that has been so fun. They do something almost every day, day and night, and I’m a very social person so it has been so great. Me and M4 were planning on going to London, but we are both last minute people and it ended up being really expensive to go. Instead, we planned a last minute trip to Florence!
Florence was amazing. “It’s like walking through a painting” my uncle told me before I left for Italy, and he was right! So many beautiful things and so much history! Although, I feel like while we were walking around, I heard way more Americans than Italians, which was kind of funny! But still, it was a wonderful experience.
We saw the statue of David which was the highlight of the trip. I listened to a voice tour while walking through the museum and I learned so much about Michelangelo and his sculptures. And, of course, the David statue. I loved it so much! I definitely need to go back.
I leave April 2nd and I’m definitely not ready to go home! Well, I am and I’m not. I can’t wait to come back to Italy! This has been another home for me.
