What were you grateful for this week?My best friend being here with me!!

What was the most challenging part of this week?The lack of sleep (but it’s no one’s fault but my own). 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. My host family just continues to be amazing. I love them! 

Tell us about your week! This week I recovered from my trip to Florence. I was also preparing for my best friend from home to be here! She has flight benefits so one day I asked her to come and she replied “yeah sure” and now she’s here!! She arrived Saturday morning and I picked her up from the airport. We ran to each other very dramatically and it was so so amazing to see her again! She will be here all week so we are going to have lots of adventures. We already have! 

I’ve been going out a lot with a large group of au pairs in Milan and that has been so cool. It’s people from literally EVERYWHERE in the world and it’s been nice to meet people that are so different but here doing the same thing. I’ve also been hanging out with M3 from Rome Abroad a lot too and she’s so awesome. We are definitely going t hang out when we get home to Utah.

I leave so soon and I’m so sad to be going. Italy has been home, and I can’t wait to come back. My family here has been amazing, the different people I’ve met have been amazing. And, of course, the food has been so amazing (including the $80 steak we had in Florence). I can’t wait to go home and share my experiences!
