What were you grateful for this week? This week I was grateful for medicine!

What was the most challenging part of this week?I got sick so that was definitely the most challenging part of my week.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. This week a wow moment with my host family was my host mom making sure I was taken care of while I was sick.

Tell us about your week! This week was pretty rough being sick! I figured out I do not like being sick even more when I’m not at home and I’m a different country haha but I still went with my friends and spent the weekend in Naples and Pompeii!

Saturday we all met in Naples there were 5 of us. We got pizza where pizza was invented of course and it was so good!! Plus it was only 5 euros for a whole pizza so that’s always good news! The rest of the time we wandered the street and did some shopping! I of course shouldn’t have but I bought three shirts oops ???? we got some gelato which was soooo good! I got almond orange and it was some of my favorite gelato I’ve had since being in Italy, soooo good! We also walked to the ocean and saw the sunset.

On our way back to the hotel we stopped at a grocery story to get some snacks and while we were there some crazy homeless man was asking us to buy him whisky then when we were checking out he was talking to the cashier and being so weird he started to grab my stuff to give to me and I was like noooo! Then he grabbed T’s banana and opened it! Hahaha so weird!

Sunday we went to Pompeii and it was one of my favorite things I have seen so far! It really takes you back in time so you can see what it was like in ancient times! I loved that! The weather was also beautiful so that was a nice bonus! Overall it was a great weekend even though I wasn’t feeling my best!
