What were you grateful for this week? *Going to Noosa.
What was the most challenging part of this week? Getting [my host family’s son] up and ready for school. It’s bit of a challenge especially without his mom.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I watched [my host family’s son] for a few extra hours so [my host mom] could go to a work dinner.
Tell us about your week!My week was very good although I struggled a few times. Twice this week [My host mom] needed to leave super early for work, even before [my host family’s son] woke up. It was a struggle to get him to eat or to get ready for school at times but in the end we always finished our nights with a big hug!
Something that I really enjoyed doing this weekend was going to Noosa with 3 other friends. We stayed at a hostel and meet 3 other girls from England and they were such a delight. We walked around and went to the beach with them and just had a blast. I think it’s so cool to be able to meet new people from all around the world. The best thing I did at Noosa was go suffering. Although I was in the water more than I was on the board it was still so much fun! HAHA.
The last thing I did this weekend was on Friday night a whole bunch of other Au Pairs and I went to the Gasworks Plaza to see the movie “The Notebook” which was really fun and then some of us went clubbing after. Overall, this week was really fun and I feel like I experienced a lot more of Aussie which is good because it’s my overall goal. Can’t wait to see what next weekend has in store!
