What were you grateful for this week?I am so so grateful for my friend monique and her boyfriend, for showing me around copenhagen and letting me stay with them.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? okay so the most challenging part was getting to the train station with all my luggage at 4 in the morning. the bus never came so i had to walk…almost missed my train which would have meant i’d miss my flight too.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I wish there could be a wow moment this week but we were both gone all week.

Tell us about your week!alright alright, this week was one for the books. my host family left early in the week which gave me the chance to go to copenhagen, denmark. I have a friend from there whom I met my sophomore year of highschool. she was doing foreign exchange at the time and we managed to stay in touch through the years. she and her boyfriend were nice enough to let me stay with them and show me around, as you already know. it was so so great to see her! I haven’t seen her since 2016 when she came back to visit. it was amazing to see where she was from. (i learned that literally all danish people speak english which was really nice.)

I got to see a real castle, climb the round tower, see the little mermaid statue, visit the queen’s palace, go to their amusement park – tivoli, and see nyhavn. nyhavn was so pretty! it’s the harbor and it’s covered with colorful buildings! that was probably my favorite place we visited! the little mermaid was also a highlight! I’ve always wanted to see that! the round tower was quite the work out but the view was beautiful! I don’t know everything was just so so amazing and I would go back there in a heartbeat!
