What were you grateful for this week? This week I’m very greatful for my wonderful host mom, her understanding, forgiving and sweet self.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? The most challenging part of this week was watching the kids over night by myself.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. My wow moment for this week was definitely keeping the kids in one piece while my host mom was in milan.

Tell us about your week! This week was super fun. C and I, we actually managed to make lots of friends, more in one week than we have the whole time we’ve been here. anyway we spent a lot of time in the center this week. i’ve found that people watching is actually pretty entertaining. as always I went to trevi fountain, I love how beautiful it is and the sound. it’s something that will probably never get old.

for the weekend C and I went out and did some bar hopping with some gelato eating in between no doubt. we’ve actually become regulars at 2 different gelato shops so now the workers know us by name and what we like. (i don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing considering how many times, not only a week, but a day, we go out for gelato).

anyway sunday night some of the Rome Abroad homies from up north came came down here so we met up and did some wandering around the center. we also met up with our friend from egypt for the last time until hopefully next year. he finished his sememster at school in italy and went back to egypt until june. He is actually the first friend we made in rome so it was sad to see him leave. anyway as always i’m having fun and im falling in love with italy more and more everyday!
