What were you grateful for this week?Other Rome Abroad girls!!!
What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? The main nanny quit so there is a temporary lady here but it has been pretty crazy with my fam trying to find a replacement.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. S and I watched all our family’s kids together until midnight the other night, so our parents could go out. It’s was pure chaos I’m not going to lie. Hahha
Tell us about your week! This week went by so so fast! I cannot believe it is already Monday again. I finally know how to get places without using google maps and I know where I’m going most the time walking and everything. It feels good hahah.
We have revisited many spots in Rome and are starting to find out where our favorites are, as well as when the least busy, tourist-filled, times to go are. I have also figured out that tourists are insane and they literally fill the streets of Rome on weekend nights.
With Halloween coming up, S and I found some little ceramic pumpkins that were around 1 euro. You bet we bought those little guys and painted them in a park. It was very relaxing. Especially considering the night before, we watched our kids all together until late so our host parents could go out together. It was pure chaos and we had a few child meltdowns but it was fun!
We have found our favorite park in Rome and we will most likely be there everyday. It’s so beautiful and so big! I’m learning that there is so much to this place. I can go to the same destination everyday and see something new. It literally blows me away.
We made a few new friends this week as well, that live in the area. M3 came to visit with her host family and we all got to hangout and do some fun stuff together. Including getting caught in 4 rainstorms hahah. It has been a quick but good week!
