What were you grateful for this week?Family.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Being away from my home in Utah.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. This week I cleared the dinner table and put everything in the dishwasher every night.

Tell us about your week! This week [my host family’s daughter] has officially started all of her after school activities. She is in gymnastics, swimming and tennis. So it’s been a busy week to say the least but also super fun.

After the school week was over I headed off to Bratislava, Slovakia to see my family! I have an aunt, uncle and three cousins living there right now because my uncle works for the embassy and they are stationed there. I flew into the Vienna, Austria airport though so we actually spent the day there exploring. They have yet to explore that city so it was new for everyone which was nice. We hit a few museums and saw the cities cathedral. It was beautiful. The next day they showed me around the city they live in which is Bratislava, Slovakia. I really like Bratislava. It’s a lot smaller and it has less tourists right now so it makes it less busy and more fun to me. I loved adventuring around those two cities his weekend but I loved being with my family more. Since being away from home and around people I don’t know it was nice to see some familiar faces. It brought a little bit of home back to me for a few days. Now I feel recharged and ready to start another busy week with [my host family’s daughter].
