What were you grateful for this week?My sweet mother.
What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Being there for people when I actually have no idea what I’m doing.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. All the preparation I’ve put into [my host family’s younger son’s] bday party.
Tell us about your week! So I don’t mean to be boring, but as readers you have to understand that I have been here for over a year, my bank account is sad, and have a very similar schedule week in and week out. WHICH IM FINE WITH. However, October is my favorite month of the year as I feel that it resonates with my soul on a deep level, so I have been in a fantastic mood. As far as what I’ve been doing; not. Much. I have been trying to spend time with the people that I have here in Milan as best I can, because I’m leaving in THREE WEEKS FROM WEDNESDAY. This is the part in your travels where you buckle down, prioritize, and become picky with whom you spend your time. So I have done just that.
This week will be jam packed and I’m unsure that I’m actually ready for it, but I never am and life happens regardless of that. The party is finally this weekend, as is the ballet (my family bought me a ticket to go to the teatro alla scala WHAT), the Mary Poppins musical (no one is as excited about this as I am), and another family party. But all I can think about is the fact that Halloween is literally two weeks away :))))))
