What were you grateful for this week? For spending the last week with this great family!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? Being without WiFi for a week.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.Woke up earlier to help my family packed.

Tell us about your week! This week was different. Last week we were at the tuscana. We stayed in a beautiful private village with amazing front and back yard with pool and view to the sea. We ate fruit from their own yard, and it was amazing. Not having WiFi for a week was a great experience to connect to myself and my host family. I spent more time with the kids and played more with them. Sometimes (i think twice) we went to the Village’s downtown and I was WiFi while eating, however I couldn’t use my phone a lot because it not polite while eating. I’m spending my last days with this family, and it’s going to be difficult to say bye. They have been great. Every single one of them. Even cousins, parents, grandparents, aunts, seriously everyone. They treated me as one more of them. This is one of those moments when you know you have to keep going with your life, school, goals, etc but you don’t want to say goodbye. The experience has simply been something that I couldn’t imagine. Of course, there are so many places that I didn’t get to visit, however, what I received all these weeks was way more than what I expected. It helped me growing more as a person, friend, teacher (this days) and to get to know myself even more. Part of my heart is staying in Italy, not only because the language, places, culture and food, but because Canavale family treated me like that.. like family.
