Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.We went for an overnight excursion on their friends’ boat and it was SO much fun!

Tell us about your week!  Okay, my time in Lipari has come to an end. After being there for nearly 5 weeks, I am on a short vacation before the school year starts back up for the boys. I am currently on my way to England for a fairly massive reunion with a group of people that mean A LOT to me. I will be seeing people that I lived with in Australia, in New Zealand, both, and some people from home as well. I’m really looking forward to it. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, CHELSEA. YES PEOPLE. ITS HAPPENING. I GET A WHOLE 10 DAYS WITH MY VERY BEST FRIEND. 

I don’t have words in either language to express how happy I am about this. Anyway, the last two weeks in Lipari were beautiful. We spent a lot of time out on the boat, in the sun, on the beach, eating fruit, and going out for a few dinners. I really have loved my time here. It’s a hidden treasure for me and I really hope that I’m able to come back at a point in my life. For now, it’s vacation time, and then we begin the routine of the school year again!

ALSO, in about 2 weeks I will hit my year mark. Ladies and gentleman, I have lived in Italy for a year. That. Is an accomplishment.
