What were you grateful for this week?Shooting Stars.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Lack of sleep.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. (A “wow” moment is when you went the extra mile to do something nice for your host family.)Having a good solid conversation with my host dad who doesn’t speak a word of english. It was really cool.

Tell us about your week! This week was very fun with the family. We’ve been playing lots of card games and figuring out ways in which we can add english to the card games. Its been interesting and fun at the same time. I also have been creating word unscrambles for them and they seem to like that okay!

On Thursday my youngest girl didn’t want to do anything in the afternoon so they told me I could just leave! I got on my new bike and went to K’s and we hung out there.

This weekend has been spent hiking, crawling through mines and tombs, and swimming in the ocean. It has been really fun and so exhausting at the same time. All of my energy is just gone.

I finished a book this week as well, so that’s my fourth one since I’ve been out here. I am starting a new one and I have one more after that, that I am ready to read. In preparation for the Paris trip, we got tickets to go to the top of the Eiffel tower, so that will be so exciting. Really this week has been great as usual and tomorrow we start all over again! This time we’ll start out by making banana bread, which my family has never heard of. Till next week then! Ciao!
