What were you grateful for this week?
Good food!
What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? Not really knowing a plan.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. Spending extra time with G while the parents got things done.
Tell us about your week! This week was super chill! We spent several days at the seaside and came back on Wednesday. Kinda sad thinking I will never see G’s two cousins or Nona again. We spent so much time together. It just got me thinking about how some people are only In our lives for a short time but have a massive impact.
Then Oma took G and me to a little amusement park of sorts. We played the games, got popcorn, and rode the bumper cars! We had a lot of fun. G and [my host mom] will be moving to Kenya for two months next week and had to get vaccinations. I went to help. It was a struggle and I don’t know how much help I was. G did not like the shots, but really, who does?
On Saturday we drove to Capalbio. We’re staying here for the next week. It’s a massive camp ground. Some people in tents others in tent houses. Glamping is awesome and I don’t know why I’ve never done it before. All the fun of camping, but with showers and beds! It’s a really cool place. We’re here with their friends who have two adorable little girls. Very well behaved. They have awesome manners, unlike G’s cousins…they only speak Italian, so there have been a couple weird moments but it’s been great! Two days down, six more to go!
