What were you grateful for this week? *Time off.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Traveling alone!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.

I was out and offered to pick up some things from the grocery store for them.

Tell us about your week! This week was awesome! I spent Monday and Tuesday in Paris, then Wednesday through Sunday in London. It was incredible! I did the big bus tour in Paris and was able to see the arc de triumph, the Notre dame cathedral, and of course, the Eiffel Tower. I speak a little French so it was fun to put my skills to use for once! Then I learned I actually can’t communicate in French.

The Eiffel Tower is even more impressive in person than I thought it would be. It was just breathtaking to stand underneath it and take in the awesomeness.

London was such a fun city! There was so much to do and see. I’m glad I had several days there. My host family spent the last 9 years there, so they gave me some tips. I saw buckingham palace, the changing of the guard, the London bridge, the London eye, Big Ben (kinda), Westminster abbey, the clink prison, the London Tower, the Crown Jewels, Shakespeare’s globe, and a million other things.

I highly recommend doing the big bus tours. You see so much and they’re very informative! My favorite part was seeing the plays! I love the theater. I went to see Wicked and Les Miserables. Both were incredible performances and gave me chills! There are some very talented people in this world. One thing I learned though, is that I definitely want a palace…
