What were you grateful for this week? My host mom for being able to find tickets for me to see a sold out ballet show in the Verona  arena.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Dressing the youngest daughter in the morning.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. Refilling the water in the house!

Tell us about your week! It’s crazy to think that my journey is almost over, this week was very busy and I’m glad my host parents were understanding and let me take a couple days off before I leave Italy!

This week I was able to visit the Bergamo shopping mall. [I] spent a few hours there and suddenly got a text from my host mom asking me if I would be interested in going to one of the most popular italian ballet/dancers show Roberto Bolle. Honestly how could I say no to that? It took place in the Verona arena and the sold out show was seriously so magical, it felt unreal to me that I was in Italy watching ballet, this was my first ballet show and I’m not sure how I’ll be able to top that.

On Friday I met with some other au pairs to check out navigli we had some drinks and explored the park in Milan. It was awesome we met with multiple au pairs and one of the girls came to Florence with me! When we got to Florence we were a little bit rushed because we wanted to go to Pisa but had to be back in Florence for the Uffizi gallery. The Uffizi gallery was cool I was able to see a few popular paintings. As cool as the Uffixi was I loved Galleria dell’Accademia, the David was amazing!

This weekend I also met tons of new friends that I hope to keep in touch with! Italy has been fun and I’m glad I had the opportunity to experience this this summer, back to reality in a week or so. Ciao Italia!
