Tell us about your week! This week was great! I spent it back in Rome with the family. The schedule went back to normal. Took [my host family’s daughter] to school, picked her up, dinner, then bedtime. So a routine was nice.
However, I had the best night ever on Wednesday. I met up with a guy from Tinder. (I know, dumb) But I was careful. We met in the daylight, in a public place, and I had my pepper spray in my pocket just in case. I thought he was from the states, Georgia. But apparently, Georgia is a country too…he had the cutest accent! It turned out to be the best date I’ve ever been on. We walked along the river and played a game. He won a little pink stuffed elephant for me. Adorable. We just walked and talked. Then we went and watched the end of a movie playing in a nearby piazza. The movie was terrible but we just laughed and made fun of it. After that we just wandered aground. We walked to the piazza Venezia, around the Roman forum, and the Colluseum. He kissed me in front of the colluseum and it was magical. I got home a lot later than I planned, but it was worth it. I felt like it was a movie. It’s a major bummer that he doesn’t live closer, but it was honestly the best night. I got my Lizzie McGuire moment!
