What were you grateful for this week? 

This week I am grateful for my host family!! I can literally never repay them for what they have done for me!! (To be continued) What was the most difficult or challenging thing this week? The most difficult thing about this week was balancing spending time with the children and with a certain person (again… to be continued) Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.A wow moment this week was when my host family and I went wind surfing and my host mom felt really sick while at the beach. While she was resting I played with the children and kept them away from their mom so she could rest. Tell us about your week! Now for this week. My boyfriend showed up and proposed to me while at the beach house I’m Tuscany!! I was so surprised ???? In a good way of course, and I said yes!! 

He and my host family planned it all and did a pretty darn good job keeping it from me! My host mom let me and my now fiancé spend the weekend together and I showed him around my stomping grounds in Rome and we went to the Amalfi coast and Pompeii!! It was such a fun week/weekend that it went by so fast!! 

Now I go home on Thursday and it feels like I just got here!! Where has the time gone?! I still remember when [my host mom] dropped me off at the corner on my first day in Rome and i had no idea what I was doing ???? 

Anyway, this week was amazing and so wonderful I can’t believe it happened to me!!
