What were you grateful for this week? This week I was grateful for A4! She was so awesome to travel with in Greece and was always a calming influence on me when I started to get stressed or overwhelmed.
What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? The most challenging part of this week was we had a couple of stressful issues with transport and finding things. I hate it when I can’t control how I’m going to get somewhere, so relying on public transport and it not being very punctual was hard for me.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. My wow moment this week is when I was able to teach [my host family’s daughter] “head, shoulders, knees and toes.” She is such a tease and always pretends to not know which is which, but she is so smart and you can tell she knows and is learning fast!
Tell us about your week! This weekend was amazing! On Thursday morning I got a taxi to the airport and headed to Greece! I landed in Santorini and then met up with M, C, and A5! We met this cute Greek girl who drove us to this spot where we could go cliff jumping and it was a blast! The water was the perfect temperature and it was so fun to spend time with a local!
That night at the Airbnb they had a really nice pool so we lounged around there and then the next morning I met up with A4 and she and I explored to Caldera and took some sweet pics! Then we were on our way to Mykonos! When we arrived we headed to the Windmills and checked out little Venice, we then wandered around the shops and had some delicious Greek food!
In Mykonos we stayed at the best hostel that had beach access and a pool so the next day we just chilled on the beach and swam in the crystal clear water! It was so relaxing! The next day we took the most amazing boat tour that took us to Delos and Rhinea island where we were able to snorkel and check out the cool historical site! It was so amazing! Our boats captain even made us an amazing lunch that he cooked right on the edge of the boat! It was such a fun day!
