What were you grateful for this week? The friends I’ve made!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Giorgia was sick, so I spent 3 days home with her and it was just a lot of time home!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I spent three days home with G even though I’m not really [required] to.

Tell us about your week! The week started off a little boring. G was sick so she stayed home from school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It was good though. It gave us a change to hang out together alone! She’s starting to get used to having me around. Even though we watched way too many movies, it was good bonding time!

I went to the Colosseum on Thursday with A2! We had a good time wandering around and looking at the beautiful architecture. Then on Friday, I went to Palatine hill and the Roman forum! Very cool place.

This weekend I went to Florence with C! We had a blast looking around and shopping! We even ran into Elle Fanning! (She played sleeping beauty in the movie ‘Maleficent’) We split up and I saw the David while she did her own tour. The David is magnificent! I was looking at the other random statues and then looked straight and there he was! It was so beautiful. That night we went to a symphony. It was absolutely beautiful! I love music and it was so fun to listen while in a massive concert hall.

On Sunday we were able to get to church! We flagged down a taxi and made it right on time! We were definitely supposed to go to church this week. The little primary children gave us a card that said “welcome to our ward”, so cute!! We planned on hiking the duomo afterwards but it was completely sold out! Nevertheless, we had a fantastic weekend!
