What were you grateful for this week?I was grateful for such a fun weekend in Venice with my friends 🙂 so grateful for the time I got to live in this beautiful country!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? The most difficult part of the week was the public transportation! In Italy it is so unpredictable and it definitely almost made me miss my flight 🙁

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. A wow moment was I’ve been making sure to do all I can to help them out extra because I am leaving in only a few days!

Tell us about your week! This week went by so fast. I can’t really even remember what I did or what happened haha but the weekend was definitely one to remember! Everyone says you HAVE to visit Venice. It’s true!! It’s magical!

It was a little stressful trying to get there though. I hate Italy’s public transportation!! Trains come half hour to hours late, they stop in the middle of the track for who knows what. I had a flight to Verona that was suppose to leave at 12. I finally got to the airport at 11:45 and I was running so fast through security trying to make it to my gate and when I got there no one had boarded the plane yet and it was almost 12:15…the plane didn’t take off until almost 1. The one time I was grateful for Italian lateness.

I finally got to Verona and met up with M and K! We had the best weekend enjoying Juliet’s wall, the amazing views in Venice, gondola ride during sunset, much time spent on those water buses to get us to the beautiful islands of Merano and Burano, hours and hours of walking, delicious food, and of course gelato. So grateful for these memories and the opportunity I’ve had to travel each weekend to somewhere else in Italy! I’m excited to see what else is in store this last week of my Rome Abroad experience!
