What were you grateful for this week?McDonald’s Coke with ice.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Leaving Venice 🙁

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I got to make doughnuts with B!

Tell us about your week! This past week I got to explore a little more of my city! I LOVE calling Merano home because it is small, quiet and an escape from the touristy parts of Italy! I love everything about my German/Italian city.

B loves to bake so this week we made some doughnuts! We drizzled chocolate on top and added lots of sprinkles! We ate them for breakfast the next morning! The best part of this week was definitely getting to travel to Verona and Venice!! Verona was so cute!! It was small and not as crowded as most popular cities, which was so nice! We saw Juliet’s balcony and tomb and got to write her a letter. I loved just walking around and being in that city! Would definitely go back again!

Venice was of course a dream! We took the water bus everywhere and even rode a gondola during sunset! We ate lots of good food and gelato and took the best pictures! Everyone says how pretty Venice is and they are 100% right! There are a bunch of islands around the main part of Venice and we visited Burano which has all the colorful houses. It is a small island but full of character! I would definitely recommend visiting Burano when going to Venice!
