What were you grateful for this week? I was able to travel to Positano this week.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Keeping the kids entertained because all of their activities are done; so I have the whole afternoon with them and I have to get creative with ideas to keep them busy and entertained.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.Usually I don’t pick the kids up from school; the housemaid does that but she called in sick and so I went to get the kids.

Tell us about your week! This week was awesome! I’m getting closer and closer to the end of this amazing experience. This week I just played with the kids after school; they don’t have any afternoon activities so I’m with them from 2:30 until 7:30 and I have to find creative ways to keep them entertained. Their new favorite game is hide and seek so we play that really often.

This weekend I went to Pompeii and Positano with L and M! It was a spontaneous trip and we planned it in like a day; I didn’t think I was going to be able to travel my last two weekends here because I wanted to save money. But I wanted to go to Positano so bad and it was worth every penny. M spent the night with me on Friday and we got up early on Saturday morning and took a train to Naples and L met us there; then we all took another train to Pompeii where our Airbnb was. We went to Pompeii and it was amazing. Such a cool place full of so much history.

Then on Sunday we woke up early; took a bus to the amalfi coast and then another bus to Positano. It was gorgeous, we got to see the whole coast while we were on the bus. L and M are so fun and I’m so happy I was able to meet them! We went swimming in the ocean and it was so refreshing. We left around 3:00 and took a train back to Naples and then we split and all went out separate ways. M and I took the same train back to Rome and Lauren took a different train back to her family’s beach house. It was a short trip; but it was amazing! I’m so so thankful I was able to go. Positano is honestly a dream!
