What were you grateful for this week?I’m grateful for the time I’m able to spend exploring the city.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Missing my friends and family.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I spent my Saturday with the whole family, because my little girl had her first communion.

Tell us about your week! This week was good! I watched the kids Monday-Friday as usual. On Thursday night I stayed with the kids while my host Mom went to a meeting, so I had dinner with them and put them to bed and everything.

This weekend was good too, on Friday I went out with a huge group of people and we eneded up going to a really cool club called the alibi, which is this huge club with a live DJ and live dancers up on stage. It was probably the most fun I’ve had since I’ve been here.

On Saturday the little girl I watch had a first communion. So I spent all of Saturday with my host family. We went to the communion and after we went to dinner; it was a really long day but it was really fun. I got to meet my host mom’s dad and cousins and other family, and I got to meet Fredricos Mom and sister and more people on his side of the family as well. We had appetizers and stuff on top of a roof of a hotel, and the view from the hotel was gorgeous!

On Sunday I spent the day alone and walked around to different parts of the city that’s ive never seen before. I went to a rose garden, which is this huge garden filled with roses, it was very beautiful. I’m so thankful for this week. I’ll be leaving Rome in 5 weeks, and time went by so fast! So I’m just trying to take every day and life it to the fullest!
