What were you grateful for this week? This week I’m grateful for everyone who has helped me during my journey.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Missing my friends and family.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. This week I just tried to do everything I could to make things easier for [my host mom].

Tell us about your week! This week was good! I can’t belive I only have a month left here in Rome, time has gone by so fast! Monday – Thursday I just went with the kids to their activities again.

On Friday the kids don’t have any activities after school so [my host family’s daughter] went to a sleepover and [my host family’s son] had a play date here at the house with another little boy, it was a relaxing day and I just let the boys play and have fun. My host family went out of town this weekend so I had the house to myself which was nice.

On Saturday I went out and just walked around the city some more, as usual, and I got some good food. On Sunday I was able to go to church with a girl who I met over here. It was really nice, she gave me a ride there and a ride home. On Sunday there was a festival right outside my house, that had games and live music, so after church I went to that festival and walked around a little bit, it was really cool but it was mostly focused on the kids. Then for the rest of my Sunday night I just FaceTimed my friends and caught up with them. This weekend was just pretty relaxing. Next weekend I’m going to Paris so I’m very excited about that!
