What were you grateful for this week?Friends! New and old ones.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Missing my family. Especially my cute momma!! I love her so much.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.I am going to switch it up a little bit and tell about a “wow” moment that the family did for me. I was having a rough night and they wanted to make me feel at home as possible. We were just about to eat dinner when [my host dad] asked if I normally pray over my food. I responded with a yes. He then said that we should all pray together and allowed me to pray. IT WAS AWESOME!! & I was so thankful.

Tell us about your week! This week was amazing. I set off Friday morning for Milano. As I arrived at my final destination I walked up the stairs out of the subway. The first thing I saw was ginormous, directly in front of me, the Duomo Di Milano. It was incredible. I shortly after found cute E. We set off for our long day.

Within 20 minutes of being in Milano I heard my name shouted through the street “B” I quickly turned to see a familiar face. It was my friend Paige P. She is currently serving an LDS mission. It was so fun to visit with her! This world is not as big as we think!

Throughout the day we saw a castle, the opera house, the brera art gallery, and the Milano Canale. But the absolute best part of all was going on top of the Duomo. We went in the evening when the sun was setting. There were very few people. At one point we even had the whole thing to ourselves. It will be a vivid memory that I will never forget. I stayed with E’s host family later that night. It was fun to see her room and meet her family. It was an absolutely incredible weekend. I made a new friend and got to check a box off of my bucket list. XOXO – B
