What were you grateful for this week? Travel buddies.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Gross men!!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. Flowers for Mother’s Day!

Tell us about your week! This week we went to Arona! It’s one of my fav things to do during the week!

J, M, and I decided we wanted to relax this weekend so we just decided to go for a day trip to Milan. Ya weird to think I’m at a place where a day trip to MILAN ITALY is just nonchalant. Pretty crazy!!!

Anyways we went to an Intermilan soccer match. It was at the San Siro stadium which is a gigantic stadium! We walked quite a ways to get there are were like hangry zombies by the time we arrived! My host mother told us we had to get the street truck sandwiches outside the stadium so we did just that! I told them to load it up PHHHATTT and it was one of the best sanwhiches I’ve had here in Italy. We sat in the fan section which was so crazy. Huge flags waving over us with obsessed fans screaming was a very authentic fun experience!

Sunday was [my host family’s daughter’s] first communion, which is very big deal in the catholic religion. It was so cool to experience that with the family. After church we went back to the house to have a luncheon with the whole family. Lots of great food and LOTS of great champagne! A great weekend with lots of laughing and new experiences.
