What were you grateful for this week?V, she is the nanny for my host family. She is so sweet and kind, almost like an aunt to me. She makes the days with the kids easier when they are being difficult sometimes!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Rain. I sat inside all week long, I really missed the sunshine.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. This weekend I stayed home and went to this party with my host family instead of going on a trip. Just so I could help with the kids.

Tell us about your week! Okay so it rained allllll week long, so I didn’t do much during the week. But on saturday I went with my family to Milan for this family party they asked me to go to. It was at this really nice sport club thing, it was so nice!

We met up with my host dad’s sister and her family, and his mom. First time I ever met them but felt like family instantly! We all went out to the pool and sat under this nice tent where they served of cheese, meat, salmon, octopus, wine and champagne! I felt like royalty! We all chatted and watched the kids swim!

Later his sister took us up to the terrace where we parted from the kids who went to this play room to eat their lunch, and all the adults sat ate lunch together. They gave us a menu with vegan options, protein, fiber packed, you name it they had it. They let me order anything I wanted with any drink I wanted. (I’ll just say now we were drinking all day!) it was so so fun! We all chatted till about 6:00pm! After that we met up with the kids again and ate cake for some of the family members birthdays. They also served us espresso after, like always!

The day wasn’t over yet, we all then went to Valentines (the aunt) house in the center of Milan! She lived in this really fancy building in nicest apartment home thing! Her chef made us all these weird foods I’ve never had and Nutella cake, and also more champagne. Man we’re we all stuffed! Best day ever!!!
