What were you grateful for this week?This week I was really grateful for all of the friends I have made here in Italy. 

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?The most difficult part about this week was having to go to the Questura for my Residency Permit.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.The most “wow” moment I had this week was when I went to my host brother’s school with my host mom and helped her bring home 3 kids so they could have a play-date.

Tell us about your week! This week I had a few more days off than usual from work which was very nice. On Monday when my host family was gone I invited my American friend over (with permission of course) and we had a wine, dinner, and movie night. It was really fun to plan dinner and spend a very relaxing night together having fun and eating. On Tuesday night I invited two of my friends over for another wine and movie night. We ended up talking, venting, and catching up so much that we didn’t even have time for a movie. It was very funny because we ended up chatting with one of my neighbors that lives on my floor that I had never met before. 

This week I had to go to the Questura for my Permesso di Soggiorno meeting. I ended up not having one of the specific pieces of paperwork that they require so I have to go back there in a few days to give it to them. It was very frustrating and slightly embarrassing. 

Over the weekend I went to a Carbonara food festival with my American friend. It was very good, although too expensive for how little food we got. After the food festival we went to a gay discoteca with

some of our Italian friends and had a blast!
