What were you grateful for this week?Happy people.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?My phone acting up.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.Helped out with the house chores while the housemaid was sick.

Tell us about your week! This week was full of ups and downs, super rainy or super sunny. The housemaid asked me if I was leaving for good or coming back, and told me the children would cry. It made it seem a little bit more real that I am leaving in less than 3 weeks.

I planned a trip to Cinque Terre for the last big bang on my last weekend. I am extremely excited to see the coast, and I am praying for warm weather!

My phone storage freaked out and deleted all of my texts and some important notes, and I was extremely frusterated and worried over this little problem I had. I was over it very soon, because I’m in Italy and if it works to communicate we’re all good!

The housemaid was sick at the end of the week, so I helped out with the house chores and picked up the kids alone. They reacted well and understood what was going on which was nice and convenient.

My host mom took me to Eataly, which is a very fancy market that has everything from meat, wine, beer, fish, makeup, books, to chocolate. It was three stories tall and filled with exciting and wonderful things! [My host mom] bought this bread with olives in it, and I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything yummier!

I had my very first horrible gelato, and now I know where to never go again. Spent my weekend window shopping in Monti and watched the boys while the parents went out for a birthday movie at the cinema.
