What were you grateful for this week? The sun!!
What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Pretty easy week honestly….
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. It was a rainy day so the kids did not play after school. Instead I took them to a cafe by our house for some ciocolata calda.
Tell us about your week! This week was great! We had two days of sun and warmth! So my friends and I layed out at Sempione and Duomo plaza to soak up the rays. Then of course it rained the day after so it was short lived. I love how many friends I have made here. It is making the thought of going home so hard! But I have connections everywhere in the world which I am very appreciative of.
This weekend I went to Zurich, Switzerland. It’s crazy that it was only a couple hour drive from my house in Milan. Zürich is the cleanest and nicest city I have visited so far. Probably because they have one of the most expensive shopping streets in the world and huge financial institutions. It’s a relatively small city and most of our trip consisted of sight seeing and eating.
My favorite part was when we took a cable car up the mountain to the Felsenegg outlook. We got views of the whole city and the lake. It was also nice to get out of the city and be in the mountains. There was so much green space and hiking trails to explore. In an open field there were a bunch of wild boars which to be honest was kinda scary haha.
The chocolate there was amazing of course. In our hostel we made friends with so many people! We got a big group of us to go out together on St. Patrick’s day which was loads of fun. Having a more low key trip was kinda nice considering how busy all of my travels usually are. I only have two weeks left and I am trying to do everything I can to stay but it’s illegal so that’s probably not happening haha.
