What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Weather.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. Created new English worksheets.

Tell us about your week! This past weekend my friend K and I traveled to Verona. We got into Verona Saturday evening and went to a really cute pizza place near our hotel. The waitress and staff were so friendly and made the dining experience feel very Italian!

The next day we woke up and went to this highly suggested brunch/bakery restaurant called Elk Bakery. We tried to make reservations the day before (this rarely works out for us because no one here speaks English) so that was a fail when we got to the brunch place and didn’t have any sort of reservation…but it’s okay because we got the option of outside seating which ended up being fine!

The food was delicious and it was a great way to start our day. We then ventured into the city of Verona and made our way to Juliet’s balcony. We shopped around for a few hours and then the weather started to get rough again so we took a little siesta in our hotel room. Unfortunately the weather In northern Italy has been super cold and rainy, which can sometime put a damper on things.

Instead of walking through the rain to find a nice place to eat we went to this amazing crepe place across the street from our hotel that was delicious! It was a great weekend overall despite the weather!
