What were you grateful for this week?

Being so close to such an amazing city like Milan!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?

Chaotic train traveling.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I have been helping out with the twins a lot lately!

Tell us about your week! This week it snowed in Gallarate!! So much snow. It has been so cold but it was kind of fun to have some snowfall and it made everything so pretty. It doesn’t snow often around here so everyone was so excited.

[My host family’s daughter] and I played around in the snow and built mini snowmen (which isn’t a thing in italy and she loved it!) It’s funny, there were NO ONE on the streets or out in the town center because of the snow and when I told my host family I walked to school in the snow they couldn’t believe it! It’s hilarious to see the differences in our cultures sometimes!

We spent this weekend in Varese and Milan and did some shopping and site seeing! Varese was gorgeous and had great shops and food! We love Milan it’s nice to have it so close and accessible, we spent more time walking around, even though we have been there before there is always so much to see! Since we only have a few weeks left we wanted to spend some more time there and really make sure we had Milan covered! We had delicious food and had some successful shopping trips! It was nice to have a little bit of a low-key weekend, even though our “low-key” is still amazing and eventful haha!
