What were you grateful for this week?Brioche croissants.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? The cold weather.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I stayed home with my 10 year old all day because he didn’t have school.

Tell us about your week! This past weekend I visited Varese and Milan. K and I braved the snowy weather & went to Varese on Saturday! It was a short train ride and extremely cold. The weather in northern Italy has been sooo cold! It’s been snowing and raining a lot, which has definitely made traveling a little more challenging.

Although it was snowing in Varese, the shopping was great! There were so many cute stores and boutiques, which kept us busy for most of the day. We also went to this huge gorgeous park in Varese that was covered in snow. It made it look magical! Walking through the snowy forest was breathtaking and something I’ll never forget.

On Sunday we went to Milan for the day. We had brunch at a very cute bakery and explored different parts we haven’t seen. We went to this amazing castle where we got to see beautiful art work & sculptures. I am always amazed by the architecture of everything here…it’s so detailed & grand.

We ate at a nice restaurant that evening and had the best pizza! The food here is incredible…that is one thing I’m going to miss so much! We also went and saw a movie in English in Milan!! What a treat. It felt like I was back in America again!
