What were you grateful for this week?
Rosa! The family nanny/housekeeper/cook. Though I am grateful for her every week. We both had to help out a lot with [my host mom] gone and she is amazing.
What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? The terrible weather. It snowed for like three straight days and it was freezing!
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.[My host mom] went out of town so I had to wake up in the morning to take the boys to school and put them to bed almost every night. I also took the boys to the dentist this afternoon as [my host mom] had not returned yet from her work trip.
Tell us about your week!My weeks are so fun that I have to go back through my pictures to see all that I have done! I have found a lot of friends to hang with in Milan and that is so fun. I love that any day I can ask people what they are up to and usually get something planned.
I finally tried the Cat Cafe that is close to my house and it was such a cute place. Cats just chill with customers while they drink their coffee haha it was a cool vibe.
The snow this week was not my fave at all. But at least I live close to a lot of things or I can take the metro.
I went to Paris this weekend with the same friend who went on my week long trip with me. Paris was absolutely amazing! I did not realize how big the city is. We did a lot of the touristy stuff like the Louvre, Eiffel tower, Versailles, Notre Dame cathedral, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeurs, and so much other stuff. The food there was super good and our hostel was really nice. There are so many terrorist threats that we got patted down just in order to walk on one of the streets. So that was a bit different than Milan haha. When I came back I went out to the club with my close friends from Milan. Europeans party like crazy haha.
