What were you grateful for this week? Friends in Milan!!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Cold weather haha. 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.My host mom has a lot of work trips so I had to help out extra last week and even more this week. 

Tell us about your week! This week was so chill and fun! I wanted to start seeing more things in Milan that I haven’t seen. I went to the top of the duomo terrace and it was amazing to see the city from that view. It was kind of crazy that I could point out where certain things were and that I actually know the layout of the city pretty well. I also saw the Sforzesco castle which is in a huge park downtown. It was sunny and warm that day which made it so fun to just be in the courtyard castle grounds. 

I also met a lot of new girls this week which was fun! Still hanging out with my core friends, but it is fun meeting new people. I also made friends with a local Italian which has been fun so they can show me to the cool local spots at night. 

I went to Florence with the best group. The girl I went with is my Aussie running buddy and the two guys are other au pairs. It was fun introducing our group to other travelers because we were representing four different countries from all over the world! 

Florence was beautiful! Definitely a more quaint city. The streets are all small and close together. It was amazing being in a city that was once so influential in world history. The group of friends I went with was the best and I had so much fun with them. Excited for a chill week and more travels to come.
