What were you grateful for this week?HALLOWEEN.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Realizing that my childhood is gone completely. I know I’m an adult and all but I have never been more of a mom than this past week.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.

I had to take more responsibility and drive the kids home, dress them and take them trick or treating, and be around to help more.

Tell us about your week!It was a short week of work, though very busy when I was working!

On Tuesday (Halloween) after school I got to be the one to dress the kids, paint their faces, and take them and their cousin out trick or treating. Halloween being one of my favorite holidays I was more than happy to do so!! Very hectic day though, from when we picked them up from school they had costumes and school projects galore so carrying everything while in a rush to go trick or treating was a challenge that I feel most mothers feel on a weekly basis…but was new for me.

That night when the parents arrived home I was free to go out and have my own Halloween festivities as I was off work the next day for a holiday. I made my way to Milano that night and got to attend a friends going away/Halloween party. It was a good time seeing everyone for the last time, as this is going to be my last week here in Italy.

It was a long weekend so M2 and I decided to take my last weekend and go to Naples. We stayed at an adorable hostel in the heart of Naples called Giovanni’s home. I highly recommend this hostel if anyone makes their way down to Naples!! Giovanni himself is the craziest most loving character around, upon arrival he cooked everyone in the hostel a big lunch which we got to eat for free, then he tells you the best places to see around. We stayed there for 3 nights which was not long enough…

Got to eat some amazing food and see beautiful sights. I think I will be going back one day hopefully soon!

Now I only have a couple days left with my host family, so I will be trying to enjoy every little minute I have left!
