What what are you grateful for this week?

I’m grateful for yummy Nutella + strawberry crepes. What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? The most difficult part of this week was transportation…which seems to be a reoccurring theme haha.Tell us about a “wow “moment you had this week.

A “wow” moment this week was when I came home early to make lunch for L who wasn’t feeling so great.Tell us about your week! This week started out with a bang by K2 coming back from Switzerland YAY! On Wednesday, [my host Mom, her boyfriend, his daughter, and my host mom’s two sons] and I all went to the center of Rome! It was a church holiday for them which is why we were able to all go! We went to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Novana, and People’s Square.

Let me tell you, Rome is a beauty. And if you can’t tell, I just can’t get over the food. We got pizza for lunch, and it was amazing. And we got gelato later on, which, of course, was also amazing.

On Saturday, K2 and I flew to Paris! We had such a great time seeing the Eiffel Tower, walking around the pretty little streets, the outside of the Louve, and eating crepes (insert Nutella + strawberry crepe here), macarons, and flan. So, all in all, it’s been a very good week!

Crazy to think I’ve been here (LIVING IN ROME!!!! What.) for 2 months and only have a few weeks left in this beautiful country. Determined to make the best of this last little bit in the famous land of pasta.

One thing I know for sure: you can bet your sweet lasagna I’ll be eating my heart out until the very very end.
