What were you grateful for this week?Sara.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? Bad decisions on my part.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.Me and the children spent an afternoon making Halloween crafts. I taught them how to make a black cat out of paper, and a mummy out of string. I tried to make a garland of tiny bats but it actually takes a long time to craft and I only finished 3. #BLESS

Tell us about your week!

LECCOOh my heavens. You can not even imagine the majesty of lake Como. It is the most amazing place on planet earth! no joke. In all the places I have visited so far this is definitely the favorite. I can’t decide whether its the fact that there are actual mountains, or because me and Vivien ate two pizzas together…but either way I would be fine moving there. I keep thanking Heavenly Father for watching out for me; there have been too many times I should’t have made it home but I did. EXAMPLE 63: Me and Vivien took a bus up to Bellagio from Lecco, we didn’t know what time it was heading back so we went to go check, only to find out the last bus was leaving in 10 mins. Idk what we would’ve done if we got stuck there. #TOO BLESSED TO STRESS ITALIANSI thought that when I came to Italy I already loved Italians. I thought that I loved walks, and I thought that I loved Pizza. I thought that I loved mornings and I thought that I loved books. But what I learned, is that the more time I spend with these things, the more I grow to love them. I love Italy. My heart is filled to the brim because of the selfless acts of so many; so many people that have made me feel loved, and accepted. I can’t find the words to tell how grateful I am for the time that I got to spend here, for the memories I got to make. I get a little confused when people say that “Italy has a piece of my heart.” Mostly because that would mean you don’t have a whole heart, and second because I feel like that would hurt. I think a better phrase would be:Italy has given me a piece of my heart.Because I have never felt so whole, and I have never felt as complete as I do now. Thank you Italy.
